Having only recently started, our plan is to understand the communities we work in completely. We would want our interns to visit the communities with our staff and conduct a thorough survey about the living conditions of people in the villages. Although Hazaribagh is a city, our operation is in the rural areas at the city limits. We had done a baseline research in the communities we started working in but we want to delve deeper and understand the pulse of the community even better.

VOLUNTEER APPLICATION
Although schools will be closed from around 15th May, we want to hold summer classes for around 2 hours everyday during the holidays where our interns will interact and work with the children. We are looking at English classes, sports, and drama classes with our Grade 2 and 3 children. Our children have never really had a stage to perform on, and a small play at the end of summer will definitely get them in high spirits about the year ahead.
Supporting teachers - We also want our teachers (some of them are para-teachers, while others are graduates from the village itself) to get exposure and guidance about what they can do in their classes. We hope our interns will light a spark in our teachers. Social network and Media – We would like our interns to set up our facebook and twitter page and share stories and photos from our classes. We have a short film in our mind too. So if that is something that interests you, we will be happy to have you.
